I have noticed recently, particularly late at night at around 2/3 am CST, people are just accepted into the clan who apply. And to my knowledge they are being accepted by people who are only Elders.
As an Elder, I personally don't think this should be allowed. I had to apply on the forums to get into 2210, as did many other people when Dan recruited. I don't think it is exactly fair, or even smart to allow someone to join just because they are level 40 (I heard that's the basic standard to be accepted? correct me if I am wrong).
So here is my suggestion:
-Remove the capability of elder's to accept people (if this is possible, I have never managed a clan)
-Only leaders can accept people and there should definitely be a standard. I understand there are kids, but when people join the clan and demand that we start a clan war and demand troops immediately and aren't satisfied with the troops that they receive...it's not a very fun atmosphere and annoying to be around such immaturity.
-Make being a Elder mean something. I don't think it is necessary for there to be so many Elders in a clan. I think I even achieved Elder status to quickly. Donating/Receiving 1000 troops is honestly not enough. Just because you do that, doesn't really mean anything. I consider the term elder to be an "Officer" of the clan. and Co-leaders/leader to obviously be the leaders. Elder's should be viewed as leaders in the absence of leadership. It should mean that this person is invested in elevating the clan and bettering it.
Just my opinion, that's all! Please let me know your input guys, and gals.
